 Residency in

Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of South Florida

Thank you for your interest in our residency training program. We participate in the San Francisco Otolaryngology Matching Program, therefore only applications submitted through the match will be considered. Our program accepts two residents per year, and each is required to complete one year of general surgery prior to four years of progressive otolaryngology training. The general surgery year may be completed at the University of South Florida.

Our interviewing process this year will begin in November for residency training commencing in July of 2003. Please refer to the overview of the residency program that provides more detailed information about our residency training. You may also wish to visit our Department’s website at www.tampa-ent.com.

In you have questions in regards to arranging a visit to our program as an elective, this matter is handled through the University of South Florida’s Registrar’s Office, and then sent to us for final approval. Our program information as well as applications can be obtained through their website at www.med.usf.edu\MD\MANUAL\toc.htm

Please feel free to contact Mrs. Michelle J. Burnham, Residency Coordinator @ 813/974-7036 if you have any additional questions that are not addressed on the websites.
